Debit Card Fraud Monitoring

Bank of Bird-in-Hand’s debit card fraud center is implementing a new 6-digit reference number assigned to each fraud case effective Wednesday, November 1, 2023.  This cases reference number will be provided to the cardholder on outbound SMS, emails, and voicemails. Cardholders will be required to provide the case reference number to authenticate themselves on inbound calls to the Fraud Center and to our live agents in the call center. This will provide the agents with the assurance that the caller was the intended recipient of our message. If you have any questions, please contact us at 717-768-8811.
